Douglas Reach

The Halifax Chronicle-Herald has described guitarist Douglas Reach as “one of the finest talents in the country” and enthusiastic audiences throughout North America readily agree.

Douglas Reach has performed across Canada and the United States as both soloist and in chamber music settings. His performances have been heard regularly on CBC radio and television.

Winner of numerous awards, Douglas was a prize winner in the First International Guitar Competition of the Guitar Foundation of America. He has also been the recipient of numerous grants and awards including those from the Canada Council, the Banff School of Fine Arts and the Aspen Music Festival.

Mr. Reach is currently head of the guitar department at Dalhousie University.
