Pianist Holly Arsenault has been an active member of Montreal's jazz scene as a leader, sideperson and educator since moving there from her native Nova Scotia in 1991. In addition, her work in theatre as a musical director/arranger was recognized in 2000 with a 'Dora' award nomination.

The latest trio/quartet CD entitled Hush is a compilation of originals subtly influenced by the writing of such dynamic composers as Peter Erskine, Roddy Ellias and Kenny Werner (the latter two with whom she studied), among others, is Holly's first.
