John Gracie

John Gracie is a multi-award winning singer/songwriter who has brought his music around the globe. From Tokyo to Iceland, Zurich to New York, audiences, including royalty and heads of state have enjoyed this wonderful entertainer. John Gracie grew up on Cape Breton Island where his mother discovered his singing talents one morning as he hid behind the coal stove.

She heard him singing then crying, at four years old he told her he was singing a very sad song he had written. She then sent him to vocal lessons which were a turning point in his life. John Gracie is a three time ECMA winner and five time nominee, he has been nominated this year in the Best New Male Artist Category for the Big Country Awards based on national radio play. These awards will be televised nationally and presented at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, June 9, 2000.

John Gracie sings many styles of music and is also an award-winning songwriter. He received a gold record for his song, Seabird's Cry and national recognition for his song of hope, Pass It On which is being used as song to help fight hunger.
