After a trip to Cuba in April 2004, the recording of a CD in January of 2005 and two standing ovation performances at the Atlantic Jazz Festivals in '04 and '05 the Canadian Primos (ages 10 to 16) are seasoned professionals. Their music is Jazz and Latin Jazz with improvised solos that have the maturity of much older players. Under the direction of Jeff Goodspeed this young band is gaining a reputation throughout Nova Scotia as the best young jazz band around.
